Study Design
Study Design Background
Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype with limited targeted therapies and high recurrence rates. The RNA aptamer sTN58 was developed to selectively bind TNBC cells and was found to target the membrane protein CD44, a key driver of tumor aggressiveness and stem-like behavior. By binding to CD44, sTN58 inhibits invasive growth and metastasis, showing strong tumor-targeting efficacy and therapeutic potential in orthotopic TNBC mouse models.
Study Description
Preclinical in vivo study evaluating the CD44-targeting RNA aptamer sTN58 for tumor localization and therapeutic efficacy in orthotopic triple-negative breast cancer mouse models.
